All Star Paws Dog Training was founded in 2004 by JennaLee Gallicchio, also known as Jenna The Dog Trainer. Since then we have worked with hundreds of people using positive reinforcement training methods and force free training methods. We use science based practices and learning theory.
We use the four quadrants of learning theory - all trainers do - however we choose to use more from Positive Reinforcement, Negative Reinforcement, Negative Punishment over Positive Punishment. Teaching the dog what to do rather than just correcting behaviors we don't want is where we focus. A dog who doesn't understand what it is you want them to do will do what they want to do. What they want is usually not what you want so teaching what you do want is SUPER important. We also recommend starting training as SOON AS YOU BRING YOUR PUPPY/DOG home. You and they are learning while creating good AND bad habits immediately. It is much easier to teach behaviors you want early then it is to change behaviors you don't want later.
